Recent Works

In the first term of my third year of university, I focused on the theme of fabricated identity in my recent artworks. I began with using ink as my medium but later shifted to zinc and copper etchings, which enabled me to explore the intricate nature of identity. I have been navigating the truths of my own identity, distancing myself from socially performative notions of femininity and the female. Through my exploration, I aim to highlight the raw aspects of identity, such as pain and dysmorphia that has become inherent in the female experience, often overlooked in society. My work invites viewers to these realities and engage with the complexities define womanhood.
